Replacement Parts for The Arnco Air-TRAK 402, HD and Maxx Trak Cable & Duct Insert Detail
All models of Arnco’s Air-Trak systems (AT 400, 402, 402B, & HD) utilize cable adapter and duct exit seal inserts to create an air seal around the cable and duct, and duct clamp inserts to secure the duct firmly to the Air-Trak air housing. The second duct clamp set was optionally used to secure duct to the rear of the Air-Trak for continuous mid-assisting.
Air-Trak systems sold to Ameritech, and later SBC, from 1994 to present have typically included specialized duct inserts denoted as “709A” (also known as “Hybrid”). The “709 denoted a TRUE size duct and the “A” designation identified it as “AMERITECH”.
As the table shows, the dimensions between the more conventional SDR duct sizes and the 709A (hybrid) were very close and difficult for users to visually identify the difference. Thus, each insert was marked, using an engraver or metal stamp, with the proper designation. Color-coding was added later to simplify selection by the user.

CABLE ADAPTER INSERTS
Description: The cable adapter inserts are used in all current models of Arnco Air-Trak systems (400,402,402B, HD etc.) and are used to provide an air seal around the cable entering the air injector block from the tractor assembly. The inserts utilize u-cup and rope seals that have to be replaced periodically by the operator.
